Although I agree, I'd much rather see someone of substance up there then say, Paris Hilton.
And it'll fade way as long as he doesn't do anything juicy after while (And I have a feeling once the "Ohh, shiny!" wears off, they won't find much juicy.)
They are just over amusing themselves with having "Substance" right now, because finally their reader care about someone important.
