Brilliant Blue G? I think... I think I might have fed large amounts of that to my fruit flies as an undergraduate; it was the dye we used to label their food because it was visible through the intact abdomen, and didn't seem to significantly affect their preferences in the dark.
Well, so much for the hope that it's probably pharmacologically inactive.
