Recover, please! I don't mean that in the general sense of "don't die," but in the very specific sense of putting a priority on recovering and resting over labwork. I don't think you'd hold it against one of your labmates if they stayed out for illness, so you have no reason to feel guilty yourself. I know what it's like to apply that standard to yourself: "-I- should be working now." But take it easy on yourself; push too hard and neglect your health, and things go badly. I can testify to that.
I hope you didn't go in today, and suggest that, unless you're down to the slightest sniffle, you don't go in tomorrow either. At your age, of course, I would have disregarded this advice, but I would have been foolish to do so.
