trenchkamen: (More to me)
Obviously saw The Producers this evening. [livejournal.com profile] keichisfuuma and [livejournal.com profile] xcerebraledemax drove down to Arizona Mills with me to catch it. I can't brag about being one of the Original Fans who saw the Original Production before the movie made it Mainstream (though I'd heard "Springtime for Hitler" a fair number of times), but I can say that I have not laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. The Tweedles can vouch for this. We were dying. I've fallen in love with Matthew Broderick again; he's absolutely adorable and perfect as Leo Bloom; as Kaity pointed out, he could only look more like a mousy, Jewish accountant if his hair was curly--or if he was Gene Wilder, I guess, who was the original. I kept wanting to grab his beltloops and yank his pants lower around his hips. Broderick is an incredibly versatile actor; I was expecting Ferris Bueller reincarnate, but Leo couldn't be further from that. Of course, Will Ferrell was great, as well as Nathan Lane and the two gay guys--in short, go see it.

I can blame my dropping off the face of Livejournal on having come down with some sudden illness that had me bedridden; that was unpleasant, but I am feeling much better today now that I've eaten for the first time in three days. That, and I was organizing my playlist for my Christmas iPod se llama Mana, who is a gorgeous, black video-playing machine. That damn organization took longer than I thought it would--well over 16 hours, yes I timed--but it is so worth it. I've got a delicious collection of music, which includes all of the good mp3s from StepMania (DDR).

Haven't touched my break homework. It'll be time to start that tomorrow now that illness and music organizing are out of the way.
