How do you measure a year?

Three day week, no lab, good. Three tests, not so good. But that should not be hard.

William Gibson is my new god, and I don't know why I did not discover him before now. The visuals--sublime. It reminds me of reading Fahrenheit 451 for the first time, but about ten times more badass.

My sister's birthday is on Thanksgiving. I need to think of something to give her; I feel cheap giving her giftcards all the time.

Wow.

Episode 23 of NANA really hit me in the gut. Ultimately, it was in a very good, liberating way. That show really knows how to put the bluesy, gritty truth into an incredibly shoujo plot. Sometimes that truth is bittersweet--but the important thing is that there is a sweet.

Now I need to convince myself that homework > finishing NANA in terms of priority, but I think I'll be wired most of the night. My sleep schedule is whack.

And I got a very positive email, so I'm in a really good mood.
