Nightswimming deserves a quiet night

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Layout is more polished, though I still need to fix that obnoxious hard line right above, which will have to wait until I have access to my FTP software again. It's bothering the hell out of me. I will fix the tables on the friends and other pages later, as I should get back to "real" work now.

It's been raining heavily the past few nights here. I absolutely love it. It does not smell nearly as deserty out here as it did in Paradise Valley after the rain, but the change is noticible nonetheless.

I got a free calendar from work at the "orientation" thing I had to do. It's actually extremely attractive, though I don't know why the scientists standing around OUTSIDE THE LABS are wearing their damn lab coats. You aren't supposed to do that. I know a bunch of fresh-faced researchers in their crisp white coats having a meeting on the balcony is a lovely visual, but it's clearly staged. Artistic licence is awesome like that.

I still need to see Hannibal Rising. What the hell is wrong with me.
