Infinity in the palm of your hand

To my dear friend: I cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are going through right now, and I wish there was more I could do to help you than sit here and type platitudes. I wish I could take the pain and the time away. But, I stumble with words of comfort, and can only hope my clumsy words serve as a mirror to what I wish I could say.

I watched something like four hours of The History Channel this evening after watching Rome with my parents. Sometimes TV CAN kick ass.

I feel irreverent announcing this given the amazingly powerful memoir I just read, but… SPRING BREAK.
