I don't even need to elaborate on how utterly deplorable this bill is. It makes the Patriot Act look like the ACLU penned it. Yeah, since it's so extreme there's a good chance it won't pass, and it may very well be left-wingers trying to get everybody riled up against Bush by presenting this bill to scare them (think the draft reinstatement bill from a few years ago), but it's still disgusting. I know too much history to write this off automatically as impossible or a hoax-maneuver.
Let's just say if it passes, somebody can use it to send me to federal prison manifold times over.
Two tests this week (Kanji test hardly counts in comparison), paper due, bleh. At least the semester will be over in a week.
It's amazing how vividly past mistakes can come back to gnaw at your stomach, heralded by the smallest reminders. The brain is a fascinating network. It's just hard to find peace when you find yourself so utterly unresolved and ultimately hopeful.
