And to all a good night.
Dec. 25th, 2007 02:50 amI really should feel bad that the majority of my (ample) Gyakuten Saiban folder is NaruMitsu (Phoenix/Edgeworth) smut, but I don't.
I got a pleasant surprise this morning when Mom was making cider. She has never done this before, and I LOVE me some apple cider.
I wish Granddad had been able to come out, but he pinched a nerve and decided to stay in the Cold, Wild Midwest. I know he doesn't have many years left, at least where he can travel independently, and I want to spend as much time with him as possible. We don't agree on a lot of things, even given the generation gap, but despite that I know he's the kindest, most patient man I've ever met. He reminds me of a human version of Whitey, and visa-versa.
I'm glad Mom's Christmas present came today. I was about to go on eBay and knock some heads together. And yes, I did order this in advance, so I didn't bring it on myself.
I'm still having trouble believing it's already Christmas again. When I was a kid it seemed like eons between holidays. Last Christmas (2006) seems like it was just a month ago, as does all the emotional bullshit that went with it, and it seems like Christmas of 2005 was hardly a year ago today.
Despite that, Merry Christmas to everybody, and I hope it's as happy and full of magic, love, and miracles as any 30's TV special could ever be.
