Apr. 26th, 2008 02:27 pmI have a sleeping kitty in my lap. This is bliss, especially since Ziggy seldom is calm enough to sit in any one place for longer than a minute.
Also, this arrived today. My God this deck is the sex. The Minors are fully illustrated and the Rider-Waite symbolism is preserved. I feel a resonance with this deck on a very guttural level. Some of the pictures in my Universal Tarot struck me as kind of ugly and unrelated to my personal visualizations of archetypes, and as the case may be, my experience. It was my alternative to the X deck, since the minors have random artbook pictures slapped on that have zip to do with the card meaning, though I LOVE the majors, and those cards are damn hard to shuffle.
I can't wait for this semester to be over. Two more weeks. I can do this grind.
The THEM formal dinner is tonight. I'm excited. Then PARTY AT MY HOUSE whut.
