But then I put on my Rape Face.
May. 27th, 2008 12:46 amI couldn't leave right now if I wanted to; there is a sleeping kitty in my lap, and Ziggy is so rarely calm I have to savor this while I can.
Fanime was fucking EPIC. I had hot sexy time with
fabula_umbrae and
xel_ko and
astrokittie and the whole gang. I was in a Gyakuten Saiban group for seven hours on Sunday, I got a TON of pictures, and I will be posting them later. And I made new friends;
shahni was my Edgeworth/Klavier; we took fanservice pictures of the latter with myself for her girlfriend. (Anybody else from that huge group: say hello dammit). I also got NaruMitsu smut I plan on scandilating, but it will take a while as the working scanner is in the living room, and God knows I do not want to scan yaoi in with my dad around. He'd pitch a fit, if the way he reacted to the Utena movie is any indication. I consider the translation a worthwhile exercise; God knows I need to practice Japanese. And I got the Kanji dictionary for the DS, so I can break that in. Fuck you, Nelson dictionary.
Also, I was so right about cosplay: "Carmelldansen" appeared more than once. So did "Hare Hare Yukai" and the Lucky Star dance. Only once was it actually funny or well-choreographed, and that was with the Baccano! group.
I even had epic timing getting to the airplane; I slid into the boarding line just as it started to move.
For some reason, on the commute home I was more or less tail-chased twice: a guy on the bus to the airport gave me his card so I'd "have somebody I know in San Jose next time I'm in town" (orly), and a Kurt Cobain disciple sitting behind me on the plane blatantly stared right at the hem of my pants as I got my suitcase out of the overhead bin. He then walked RIGHT BEHIND ME all the way to the pavement staring blatantly down at my arse. I am not imagining this or flattering myself. Every time I glanced over my shoulder he would suddenly look up and give me a smirk. I just gave him a flat stare and ignored him.
His tattoos were idiotic.
I need to get to sleep before I'm tempted to get more involved in the internet. Back to the lab tomorrow.
