I am determined to see snow this winter. I have not seen a real winter since 2000, and damn it, I miss it. I also miss a true autumn. Phoenix has the seasons hot, really fucking hot, tolerable, and nice. I miss cold mornings and seeing my breath as the sun is rising and colored leaves. Autumn is my favorite season for many reasons, and the weather is one of them, but a Phoenix winter is an autumn for the rest of the country. And then, I love the crisp cold of winter, a blanket of snow, and a frigid, vanilla sky followed by a cold blue twilight. You can SMELL snow; it is an amazing smell. Driving may be an entirely different story, but few things come without a price. I know my mom thinks I am certifiable as far as this is concerned--and a lot of other things, but that's neither here nor there.

Also, House season 5 starts tomorrow. I am full of excitement.
