Anime LA 2009 Con Report

As per usual, I spent more in the dealer's hall than I had anticipated, which is impressive given how little time I got to spend in there. Aside from the hat, my obsession with plastic crap manifested itself in the form of a $5 figure of Riza Hawkeye I could not believe I found, a Palkia keychain, and a Piplup phone charm, both of the latter of which are going on my shoulder bag. I got the box sets of Gankutsuou and Haibane Renmei, the former of which I have been meaning to watch for ages and the latter of which I need to finish and have not seen in ages. Apparently Geneon went under, so both of these titles have been out-of-print for quite some time. I got several more stickers for my laptop, as if it needed any more, in the form of my two Big Gay Lawyers, Link, the Hiitachin twins, and Itoshiki-sensei, and I got a picture of Dr. House in which he looks shocking tsundere. Vicky got me a Dr. Crane pin. Joy.
