In a somewhat-related tangent, my stomach still hurts from laughing so hard. Oh, Takarazuka. Despite my already-aired grievances with forced heteronormativity and interference with my OTP this looks like a blast. Larry needs to get with Maya so bad. And I think I'm in love with girl!Gumshoe.

Actually, for something so heteronormative, this entire play seems so GAY. Dancing. Flamboyant costumes. Edgeworth in a flaminco outfit gyrating his/her hips like a male stripper. I half-expected him to break out with "Oh~h I wish you could meet my girlfriend, my girlfriend who lives in Canada", as part of the whole Takarazuka "NOT GAY" attitude. Yeah right. You're not fooling anybody.

It was also really fucking weird to see him dancing with a bunch of backup dancers who were dressed exactly like him (different dance; magenta suit). Did he pull that clone-no-jutsu bullshit from Naruto or something?

Also, to the lameass pseudo-anime opening thing playing on the screen in the background during the opening number: cut it out. It's dumb. It's not fun-dumb, just dumb.

I still want me some hot androgynous lesbian Phoenix/Edgeworth action. Dear God. Women in suits get me hot. And those two as women are just delicious. Yuri is so underrepresented in this fandom every fucking fandom but Utena and Sailor Moon.
