trenchkamen: (Eyyyyy)
What is up with all of the awesome Gyakuten Saiban stuff lately? I must somehow acquire these. I'm still not being used to being deeply involved in a fandom that is popular/new enough to have merchandise.

I love the smell of fresh laundry.

The further I get into Avatar, the higher my respect for Uncle Iroh jumps. He is my Zenspiration.

[livejournal.com profile] fabula_umbrae finally got around to starting Arrested Development, so maybe somebody else will recognize those quotes when I use them.

I'm disappointed that Fullmetal Alchemist 2 is so far going over the stuff the anime AND the manga already covered in detail--from the beginning. I thought it was going to pick up at the point in the anime where it diverged from the manga, and go from there. But we're apparently going back to Lior now? Was the first time around not good enough? I thought it was good enough.

Dad called me today. When I told him I was at the gym, he said that I should keep it up, and that I really seem to have trimmed down and toned up in the last month or so. Rachel said something to the same effect (except it was "Your ass is a lot smaller", so that's good for crossplay), so this is good. I know I was not overweight before, but I like being strong and healthy. I'm also sleeping better and have more energy; and yes, this is saying something, as I have persistent insomnia.

I am almost done with my Ravenclaw scarf. I am on the last blue stripe. Despite a few dropped stitches I am pleased with how it has turned out. As Rachel said, "This looks legit." Ah, yes, to those of you who knit, I finally got my Ravelry invite, so look me up. It's a nifty site.
