Thanks for calling my attention to the book ban, which I hadn't known about. I think you're right: it's another symptom of the gravely mistaken mindset that if we ignore race it will go away. And I think it's reasonably likely that any philosophy that leads you to conclude that particular books should be banned is a philosophy that makes at least one fundamental error that has nothing to do with banning books.
