I am the wayfarer, free as the breeze.

As a graduation present, Mom and Dad gave me a sterling silver necklace with the Kanji for "journey" on the coin-charm.
Even though I promised myself I wouldn't be a total girl and cry tonight, my eyes got moist. But I couldn't stop grinning. There is something amazing about realizing that your parents understand you and your nature, instead of getting you a stereotypical present that just does not suit your personality at all and you would politely hide away somewhere.
Everybody keeps telling me this is the beginning of something big for me. They really do believe it, don't they.
I need to get dressed now.
