I went to Homecoming to see if my sister won queen. I kind of promised long ago by proxy I'd go if she was nominated, so I showed up late, as usual. Some kid I vaguely remember and who remembers my name asks me where my brother is. I have no brother. I ask him if he means my sister; he says no. I already knew where this was going as soon as he asked me about a brother everybody knows I don't have, but I waited until he said "But I thought Samson was your brother." I just waved my hands at him and said "No... no..." I didn't even feel like explaining. But damn, that was one I never saw coming.

Also, some girl in the lab whose name I forgot passed me in the back corridor while I was restocking, stopped, and said "You really like black, don't you?" I stared at her a moment to try to discern if this was a trick question, realized it wasn't, arched my eyebrows, and said "Yes. Yes, I do."

Huh.

Oh, I just finished (finally) Ouran High School Host Club. Squee for the cute. So much love for Honey and Mori. So much love for everybody. That show makes me smile so much, it's kind of lame.

Random note: I've never understood a rape fetish. (Yeah, I know, what do I expect on /b/ at 4chan and 7chan anyway?) It's never bothered me if I know it's staged or drawn nonsense, but I'll never understand why it's considered hotter to see somebody crying and disliking getting fucked in the ass than to see two (or more) people thoroughly enjoying themselves. Concentual is WAY hotter, kthx. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic.

1) Up until I was 18, I cried when I got shots. Yeah, shut up. I held still. I take hits that hurt manifold times worse and damaging and shake it off. It's an irrational phobia.

2) I hate barbeque sauce. It's gross. So is root beer.

3) When I was younger, I ate pickles by first eating off all the skin, and then attacking the core.

4) When I was in fifth grade playing Goldeneye 007, I got freaked out when I tripped the alarms and guards swarmed out after me. Something about the noise really bothered me.

5) In elementary school I used to eat Paste Picante right out of the jar and pretend it was some archaic soup. I was usually also pretending to be a Long Patrol hare / Kokiri / Gerudo / whatever. In the shed.

6) I was a Brownie for a few years. It sucked ass and I quit. I also did ballet, jazz, tap, and gymnastics (yes, all at the same time), before I dropped that shit for martial arts. It took a while to find a calling.

7) I buried my friend's toy robot on the playground in third grade.

8) I have a fan-fic from fourth grade in which I was James Bond's anthropomorphic pet cat and co-agent where Severnaya is now populated by anthropomorphic cats a'la Redwall and--what. Stop giving me that look. It made so much sense at the time.

I understand that root beer isn't liked by certain asian populations like the japanese. Their taste buds just aren't designed to like it. So franchises like A & W had to shut down in japan because nobody liked root beer.

My sister used to do that to foods like carrots and candy bars. I remember kit-kats in particular. I think she still does it sometimes.

I'm pretty sure Okinawa is the only place that still have A&Ws. So I suppose I shouldn't have said that the entire franchise shut down in Japan. But it definately didn't do well in other areas.
