I know I haven't been on t3h Livejournal for a while, but I've been trying to keep distractions away from my homework. It's not working very well.

Fuck this class. Seriously, fuck this. I know how to copy-paste into Word.

I know I'm a total thin-blooded desert-dweller for thinking 45*F and rainy is cold, but I kept thinking I could cut glass with my nipples today. Especially on the bike. I need to invest in gloves yesterday. My amazing leather serial killer gloves split a seam, and I don't want to risk making the damage worse. This is not helped by the fact that I have abysmal circulation to my extremities, and if you have ever had the (mis)fortune to touch my hands any time I'm not in a sauna, you know this. It takes forever to get them working again so I can type properly.

When it comes to cold weather, wind is everything. Everyone riding a bike has to deal with an extra 20 degrees of wind chill.

I find that whenever I take a springtime vacation anywhere outside Phoenix, I think "ah, it won't be THAT much colder, I won't pack gloves", and then I spend the entire first morning of my trip frantically searching for a store that sells gloves.

Invest in gloves. You only use them for a short period during the years but they are super-invaluable. Kinda like a good hat.

Every time a yaoi con comes to town, I ponder the idea of hitting one of these things to cruise all the women that are there. If worst comes to worst... do they usually run a good gaming room?
