Avoiding filling out a billion forms

Though I do need to get back to work soon. It's almost lunchtime, anyway.
I don't remember when it got so damn hard to find parking at ASU in the summer. This would usually be fine--I'm patient--but there was some jackhole with a Corvette of some variety sprawled across THREE primo locations in the garage. It's hot, dude. I had to drive another block to park. And the car's license plate was "NASA 1", which for some irrational reason I find even more insufferable. Sure, you work for NASA, or something. That's awesome. I really wanted to kick your car. You're lucky I have a very slow-burning fuse.
Also, I'm not entirely sure why Arizona DPS is offering a 'brown-bag' lunch for us employees on "Light Rail Safety". Dude, if you have the basic intelligence to be a lab scientist (debatable though that intelligence may be sometimes), you should know how not to get yourself killed by the light rail.
Only got a few hours of sleep last night. I woke up at around 4 AM unable to breathe at all and with my ears popping; no amount of sitting up/steam/blowing of the nose would fix that. My allergy medication was still supposed to be metabolizing at that point, so double-dosing wouldn't do shit. Finally fell back asleep around 8 AM, so when my alarm went off at 9 AM, I was cross. I'm taking a nap when I get home.
And that's the news so far.
Okay, back to work.

Date: 2008-06-10 01:57 am (UTC)Basic intelligence is totally debatable, but I agree about the stupid light rail. (which I don't think should be here anyways...) You don't even have to worry about getting electrocuted.
