Dur hur hur

I don't know why I come to this class. I can't understand a word the teacher says. She talks to herself and the blackboard.

Yeah, I know. Pokemon World Championships report. I haven't done it yet. I'm grossly behind on all things writing. School and Harvest Moon, like a lot of Harvest Moon.

Thank you to all of you who commented on my fellowship; you guys really made my day.

I'm so reminded of my freshman Chemistry class...dude was bad enough that I stopped going to lecture and watched my grade improve. Apparently what he taught and what ended up on the exams were sufficiently disjoint that reading the textbook and just showing up to recitation prepared me better.

(Unfortunately, as I found out when I showed up the last day of class so I could give him a scathing evaluation, at that time, tenured faculty were not even made to bother with student evaluations.)

This is a definite improvement.

Do they actually *mean* anything?

Don't worry, girl, I'm also very behind, too, on life as I have been deprived of internet until today.

So how's class, pokemon, fanfic, and life as we know it?

And, also, you got in a research fellowship!?

That's awesome! I'm sorry I couldn't give you my congratulation sooner, but man! You're one step away from achieving your dream as Mrs. Stein! Ah... soon, you two shall be the NEW Curies, except you'll probably deal with biology instead of chemistry :p

Oh, and by the way, never, ever leave any hair in the sink. It clogs up the drain, and you won't be able to properly dispose the fingers of the carcasses. And, yeah, make sure the heads are kept in the -20 freezers.

Dr. Stein, thank you very fucking much.

I have a lot of hair.
