trenchkamen: (Show me your eyes)
[personal profile] trenchkamen
I had never seen this movie in its entirety, and not in pieces since it ran on Turner Classic Movies in 2006. I finally found an online copy, and I just watched the whole thing.

I honest-to-God started crying during the ending credits. It wasn't sad. It was just that powerful. I felt like I had been hit in the chest with a canonball. And the song did not help.

Why is nobody going to release this in the United States? This is the true power of animation as a universal medium. Oh, yeah, because we can't discuss anything in the least bit controversial to anybody ever in this country without having people threatening to boycott or sue.
