I'm like a billion years behind on LJ. Sorry.

GUYS.

GUYS.

...GUYS.

LOOK AT THIS FUCKING RELEASE DATE.

IT IS IN LIKE A WEEK I CAN'T HANDLE THIS. I don't know if I want to just order it from Amazon now, or go to the game store next Tuesday. Also, Valentine's Day release LOL. Except I have three midterms the following week. Fuck my life.

I think I need to write more. It's been a year. A full year. I can't believe this the Summer of Love 2008 when I was spending hours a day reading the KinkMeme and producing 300+ pages in three months seems so recent, and now I'm grossly behind on everything in this fandom.

So is Naoto/Kanji, but I haven't done anything creative in that arena, and I don't think making a costume counts.

I've been on semi-hiatus (unannounced) as of late. Kind of. What with grad school interviews (just did UCLA~! I saw [livejournal.com profile] skuldchan and [livejournal.com profile] fabula_umbrae and Hillel, faggotry good times were had by all, even if it was for all of two hours) and honors thesis and poster symposium and graduating and other bullshit this semester. Oh, and I have to do my scientific public outreach project, which is going to come after thesis defense in March. Anybody want to contribute to that? It's about the real science behind science fiction and fantasy. Articles are at a laypublic (easy) reading level.

Also, I stand by my facebook status: "We Are the Champions" isn't about sports, the same way "Bicycle Race" isn't about bicycles and "Fat Bottomed Girls" isn't about girls. Which is why I get a huge, sadistic kick out of seeing homophobic jocks sing along with it. This was mostly in Texas at football games.

I still think Bohemian Rhapsody is about AIDS. I don't care if the time period doesn't match up. Queen can go back in time with the power of fabulous.

What the fuck, Dexter? This is the second ad you've done that's shown up on the feminist radar. Both for Dodge. What is this. I'm so disappointed. Not as disappointed as I am in Johnny Depp. I think my heart's been broken.

Ground control to Major Tom?.

Yeah, homework.

Oh my god!!!
After so long, and we finally heard another release of the Ace Attorney franchise! I want to see more Phoenix, though.

And, I totally feel for you on the write more dealio. Since school started, I haven't been able to get back to my own stuff. I need to rework a lot of things.

Also, Naoto can forget it. Kanji's mine <_< He's so easy to tease, it's adorable! Thank god I'm only 5 years older than him. Otherwise, I'd sound like a sick old perv right now. Good luck with your thesis. And, I'd LOVE to help out with the sci public outreach project (if I have time). I'm actually gonna do a review on Soylent Green (due April 8 for me), discussing the real science involved in the film and people's perspective of science during the mid-1900s. The instructor suggested that we get second opinions from other people, too, to write a more well-rounded review. Would you think this works?

Yeah, that would be excellent, perfect. Is it from a biological perspective?

Phoenix isn't in the game at all (FFFFFFF), but I remember in the demo Edgeworth made a reference to him. Something like "This is exactly what *he* would do..." when trying to piece together evidence. So, Edgeworth is thinking about him. Yeah, I have ship glasses on, but I squeed. CAPCOM would be stupid not to pander to that base. They did a good job in the first three games. I have huge problems with Apollo Justice / Gyakuten Saiban IV writing out Edgeworth, Franziska, etc, and only making passing reference to Maya (Maya is not "some kid" to Phoenix; their bond is far, far deeper than that). Which inspired me to spend a summer writing 300 pages of backstory for that.

Kanji gets flustered about as often as Edgeworth. ...Jesus Christ, new cross-fandom ship. About as stable as the Hindenburg.

Well, both biology and technology and the role scientists play. Is there a guideline of sorts in terms of what you're looking for?

BTW, now you're making me thinking of sick crossover of Edgeworth and Kanji... oh man... prosecutor finds alleyway thug beaten and unconscious on the street (from a lost fight against the shadows). Thug turns out to be suffering from amnesia. And, the whole crossover fic will revolve around the 2 months Kanji spent regaining his memory, and ends with him finally knowing what he needs to do and leaves. Both Edgeworth and Kanji return to the lives they had before they've ever met each other.

Epic.

And, yeah, that sounds good.

Ahh yes... but now the million dollar question:

Who's topping? Kanji or Edgeworth? And, will Phoenix join in for an occasional 3-some?
