Phoenix Comicon is this weekend?

WTF. I thought it was next weekend or the weekend after.

Anybody going? It looks like it might actually be enjoyable and predominated by anime. Probably also its fair share of Inu Yasha and Naruto fantards (not that they’re bad shows in-of-themselves, but you know what I mean), but we’re used to that by now. And I haven't been to a con since AniZona in April.

It starts Friday night at 7PM, free to people with two day passes. I don't think I'll be able to stay both days, but we'll see. At least Saturday. Too bad the Masquerade's Sunday evening. And, of course there's a dance Saturday night. RAVE IT UP. And does it make me lame if I want to attend some of the writing / publishing panels? I'd love to fuck real work in the ear forever and write stuff.

Freaking finally. I'm so glad this book is coming out before the movie. The books are detailed, gritty, profound, realistic, horrific, all-consuming love. Hopefully this one will be as good as Hannibal. Thomas Harris has been a writer-inspiration since I started reading him. I did like the old title of Behind the Mask better, though.

I need to start writing my paper now.
