I finally bought the new Depeche Mode album, Sounds of the Universe, which is a lot more David Gahan CRYING MOAR--and I wouldn't have it any other way. He's such a whiny little bitch. I <3 him. So far I'm of two minds regarding the content--some of the songs have the melodic quality I loved in their early work, and others have the same deadpan "let's bang on a trashcan" quality I disliked in most of Playing the Angel. I do not like this trend. Q.E.D. I finally ripped my iPod stuff to my new computer (yes, it's been THAT LONG since I updated), so it's gotten a much-needed content influx. It's amazing how much better quality the official Dr. Horrible soundtrack is than the ghetto-ass rip I used to have.

Following on the eight day meme: yesterday, my mom and sister helped me move a ton of junk out of my dorm, which is refreshing.
