You've got red on you.
I just spent the past four hours of my life embroidering the Yasogami High logo onto my jacket, and it looks like utter hell. And the white thread turned this ugly-ass pink from using red pen to trace out the logo on transfer paper. The Kanji is a bunch of amorphous lines and BAH--all of the lines are so. Damn. Small. I put stain stick on the thread in the vain hope it will help me get the red out.
fabula_umbrae pointed out that maybe I should have used embroidery stitches instead of going at it freehand. She's right, of course. I also think my thread is too large, and I am wondering if I can find any way to take advantage of an embroidery machine for just one go.
Does anybody know a damn thing about embroidering beyond "thread needle, insert here"?
I am so done with this for tonight.Fuck; I still have Dad's guitar strap to finish by Sunday.
