A hell of a lot has happened since my last post, including Whitey passing away, which I had plenty of time to think about for the six hour drive to LA. I got to say good-bye to him before we had to put him to sleep, so I have been nursing this pervasive, vivid memory of holding him while he purrs weakly and wiping the grunge out of the corners of his eyes. Since then, everybody has been incredibly sympathetic and sending messages of condolence, which I do appreciate. Thank you, all of you.

Anime LA was pretty low-key for me this year. I've seen tons of friends since I got out here. I'll have to write more details later.

And the Giffords shooting--I don't even have words for that shit. And now Westboro Baptist is going to protest the funeral of the child that was killed.
