I feel a little bad, realizing some of these authors are probably 13 years old, but apparently one of them is my age. And I've read stuff equally bad by people I know for a fact were way too old for this shit.
I'm also amazed/a little miffed by the sheer number of comments some of the stories got, most of them along the lines of "OMG SO AMAZING :3". It's like a massive circle-jerk. I see this happen all the time, though--there are some amazing stories that get very little attention, and some mediocre-to-poor ones that seem to get huge amounts of praise.
