I spilt pico de gallo juice on my pants, and now I smell like a walking extension of Salsa Rico.

Random question: why do most drag queens wear wigs (at least in movies) as opposed to growing their hair out? I've known plenty of men with lovely longer hair, at least when it's kept clean and brushed, so I know there's no inherently better quality in female hair. Real hair looks better than a wig.

My back and arms keep twitching--it's like I'm having myoclonic jerks, but I'm not falling asleep. I probably have some form of deadly neurological disease or something. Maybe I can go see Dr. House?

Can anybody give me the names of some English-speaking bands that would be considered analogous to X-Japan? I have a Japanese exchange guy asking me for recommendations, and he says that he preferences the likes of X-Japan and Luna Sea over, say, Depeche Mode.

Plato's Republic is so freaking boring. I read three pages and don't remember what I just read. Then again, I also have near-zero focus as of late. I get by, though.

Argh, Plato's Republic killed me to read. Just find it bulled-pointed online, seriously >.> What part are you focusing on; the Cave analogy?

Am I the only person _not_ reading the Republic? Granted, I was supposed to be reading excerpts of Burke's A Philosophical Enquiry Into the Origin of Our Ideas of the Sublime and Beautiful, and, well. Didn't.

I have a theory about the drag queen thing. Some (by no means all, of course, but a large amount) hide the fact that they are a drag queen. Because having long hair is not considered business appropriate in many office buildings, and because friends and family may find it odd, they keep a typical short man's haircut.

Maybe?

Well, of course, but I'm talking about the ones who are out-and-about-and-proud all day, every day.
