I know my parents are worried about me driving by myself to LA. That's just a parent thing.

But my dad's back-asswards way of expressing that is to print out MapQuest maps of LA, staple them onto cardboard, and highlight I-10 on all of them (note: I-10 is a dead straight shot from Phoenix to LA; it is idiot-proof).

My mom came in when he handed them to me just so she could see the look on my face.

I love my family, really.

I desperately need to finish packing. I was supposed to be on the road an hour ago.

lolz, literally... That's great. Makes sure you know about the only freeway that makes any sense going into LA.

Missed you last week. (I'm also jealous of the fact that you're out of here for two weeks.) The power outage was pretty entertaining. Would have been fun to wifi our DSs or something. :) I'm still totally addicted. Oh and I got Trauma Center at GameStop. I hate the stupid Triti virus btw.
