You've got red on you.
Jun. 19th, 2009 11:51 pmI just spent the past four hours of my life embroidering the Yasogami High logo onto my jacket, and it looks like utter hell. And the white thread turned this ugly-ass pink from using red pen to trace out the logo on transfer paper. The Kanji is a bunch of amorphous lines and BAH--all of the lines are so. Damn. Small. I put stain stick on the thread in the vain hope it will help me get the red out.
fabula_umbrae pointed out that maybe I should have used embroidery stitches instead of going at it freehand. She's right, of course. I also think my thread is too large, and I am wondering if I can find any way to take advantage of an embroidery machine for just one go.
Does anybody know a damn thing about embroidering beyond "thread needle, insert here"?
I am so done with this for tonight.Fuck; I still have Dad's guitar strap to finish by Sunday.
