I love it when my head fucks with me. I *love* it.

Calculus and government done; favors for favors, laddies.

House, M.D. kicked ass this evening, as usual. Wong Foo is on Bravo right now until 11:00 PM Arizona time if anybody wants to watch that. I had to pry myself away from the TV after fifteen minutes. To anybody who is not familiar: it is a popcorn-fluff feel-good movie about drag queens, and everybody loves a good drag queen.

(stolen from [livejournal.com profile] ariseishirou) Pick 5 of your OTPs and then list which specific moment made them your OTP. Then tag 5 people.

There are a few more pairs I did not mention (Team Rocket, Dalet and Migel, Greg House and Stacey Warner etc). I tend to have relatively few OTPs, and those that I do have endear themselves to me forever.

Alucard / Integra Hellsing (Hellsing): The moment that comes to mind is the one in episode 10 of the TV series--"Master of Monster", if I recall correctly--in which Integra tells Alucard that no, she will not surrender her blood to some goddamned vampire freak, since she is a Hellsing and by God the Hellsings do not fraternize with the enemy or lie down and die, so help her God. I love their relationship dynamic; it's pure tension hemmed by mutual respect and the mutual knowledge that one could kick the other's ass--figuratively speaking, since Alucard is a No-Life-King and Integra is still a human, but you know exactly what I mean.

Sumeragi Subaru / Sakurazuka Seishirou (Tokyo Babylon / X): So many moments for a fandom over which I have obsessed for far too long. I'll select the critical turning point in volume 6 of Tokyo Babylon where Subaru says "I'm in love with Seishirou-san." It is so much more powerful if you already know how things are going to end... And, of course, one can't not-mention Rainbow Bridge and that Pesky Missing Word. We all know deep down in our hearts what he said.

Tenjou Utena / Himemiya Anthy (Shoujo Kakumei Utena): Final episode, where Utena opens the Rose Gates with her tears, and tries to pull Anthy out of her coffin even though she is severely wounded--that did it, if it wasn't already done with "That's the sort of friends I want us to be" in episode 25.

Dryden Fassa / Millerna Aston (Tenkuu no Escaflowne): The final episode in which Dryden tells Millerna that she is free to go, but that he is determined to win her back of her own free will, is a point at which my respect for Dryden skyrocketed beyond the levels it had already reached.

Hannibal Lecter / Clarice Starling (Hannibal Lecter trilogy, soon to be quartet): If you want to adhere to the movie storyline, this would be it:

Lecter: Would you ever say to me, "Stop. If you love me, stop."?
Starling: ...not in a thousand years.
Lecter: "Not in a thousand years." ... That's my girl.

If you want to adhere to the novel ending, the entire last chapter would do it. Say what you will--yes, it's far beyond left field across the street and down the block--but I loved it.

I just tag everybody.

So close to being done with this college crap, for now--at least, until it's time to apply to honors colleges. Head down power through.

I vow to watch Hellsing eventually. I have a loose grasp on the whole thing, but I haven't watched or read it yet. But, somehow, I'm so very fond of that first pairing you mentioned. And young!Walter.

And you named one of my favourite parts from Escaflowne. So much love for you. ♥

We all know deep down in our hearts what he said.

I would laugh and cry if it was some how 'hate' or something like that. I know people have fought over the whole structure of the sentence and stuff, but I like to amuse myself. It's like the whole crack pairing thing. Just for the record(or something), I do think he said 'love'.

Need sleep. @.@;

He said he was saving on car insurance with Geico!

That would be such an insane commercial.

Want to talk about it? *hugs* I hope you're able to get things sorted out soon. It's no fun being mindfucked. =/

Hooray for drag queens! I've been typing up the journal entry of DOOM for the past three hours, otherwise I might just check it out. XD

Hell, this means I've been tagged with a meme, doesn't it. Hell! XD

And good luck with all of the college things. You can do it, Lauren. It's a pain in the ass, but just keep reminding yourself that once you finish, it's done.

Hey buuuuuddy.

Yay! I love OTP's that are really, RULLY good. All those aforementioned ones are excellent. I can't help but wonder what it would have been like to NOT know how TYO was going to end.... And the ultimate heart-wrench that would have occurred.

I mean like, more so. Also, Alucard and Integral forever.

I'm here for ya.

I was watching To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar just the other day, but it was playing on a different network. I still don't see how the people in that film mistake Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo's characters for actual women. Ever seen The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert? If you haven't, that's another drag queen fluff film, and it has Hugo Weaving(The matrix:AGENT SMITH).

Agent Smith as a drag queen?

There is just no question. I must rent that movie.
