I love it when my head fucks with me. I *love* it.
Calculus and government done; favors for favors, laddies.
House, M.D. kicked ass this evening, as usual. Wong Foo is on Bravo right now until 11:00 PM Arizona time if anybody wants to watch that. I had to pry myself away from the TV after fifteen minutes. To anybody who is not familiar: it is a popcorn-fluff feel-good movie about drag queens, and everybody loves a good drag queen.

ariseishirou) Pick 5 of your OTPs and then list which specific moment made them your OTP. Then tag 5 people.
There are a few more pairs I did not mention (Team Rocket, Dalet and Migel, Greg House and Stacey Warner etc). I tend to have relatively few OTPs, and those that I do have endear themselves to me forever.
Alucard / Integra Hellsing (Hellsing): The moment that comes to mind is the one in episode 10 of the TV series--"Master of Monster", if I recall correctly--in which Integra tells Alucard that no, she will not surrender her blood to some goddamned vampire freak, since she is a Hellsing and by God the Hellsings do not fraternize with the enemy or lie down and die, so help her God. I love their relationship dynamic; it's pure tension hemmed by mutual respect and the mutual knowledge that one could kick the other's ass--figuratively speaking, since Alucard is a No-Life-King and Integra is still a human, but you know exactly what I mean.
Sumeragi Subaru / Sakurazuka Seishirou (Tokyo Babylon / X): So many moments for a fandom over which I have obsessed for far too long. I'll select the critical turning point in volume 6 of Tokyo Babylon where Subaru says "I'm in love with Seishirou-san." It is so much more powerful if you already know how things are going to end... And, of course, one can't not-mention Rainbow Bridge and that Pesky Missing Word. We all know deep down in our hearts what he said.
Tenjou Utena / Himemiya Anthy (Shoujo Kakumei Utena): Final episode, where Utena opens the Rose Gates with her tears, and tries to pull Anthy out of her coffin even though she is severely wounded--that did it, if it wasn't already done with "That's the sort of friends I want us to be" in episode 25.
Dryden Fassa / Millerna Aston (Tenkuu no Escaflowne): The final episode in which Dryden tells Millerna that she is free to go, but that he is determined to win her back of her own free will, is a point at which my respect for Dryden skyrocketed beyond the levels it had already reached.
Hannibal Lecter / Clarice Starling (Hannibal Lecter trilogy, soon to be quartet): If you want to adhere to the movie storyline, this would be it:
Lecter: Would you ever say to me, "Stop. If you love me, stop."?
Starling: ...not in a thousand years.
Lecter: "Not in a thousand years." ... That's my girl.
If you want to adhere to the novel ending, the entire last chapter would do it. Say what you will--yes, it's far beyond left field across the street and down the block--but I loved it.
I just tag everybody.
So close to being done with this college crap, for now--at least, until it's time to apply to honors colleges. Head down power through.
