Fuck college. I'm going to be James Bond when I grow up.
In case you couldn't tell, Casino Royale kicked all the ass I hoped it would. The opening sequence itself made me want to touch myself in the bad place. (Instead of naked women, men in suits fighting. It's like Christmas come early!) Daniel Craig has the bluest eyes this side of Hugh Laurie. I'm convinced he had to be wearing color-enhancing contacts or eye drops or something--those things were Day-Glo.
Seriously: characterization--impeccable, actually gives a vista of how Bond became the way he was in the other twenty movies, and quite nicely done. Highly recommended, even for Bond Virgins. And you get to watch stuff get blown up if you're not one for the finer points of cinema. Lots of stuff. Aside from that, it is, bar none, one of the best Bond films to date, if not my new favorite--as much as GoldenEye will always have a place in my heart, I know deep down it's pretty campy and pulpy in comparison.
Instead of watching the episodes of House I missed, I should be doing homework.
Oh, and sending out emails inquiring about internships.Uh.
Quiz from

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.
The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.
The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.
The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
You guys think this fits? There are a few things I disagree with, but it's damn close enough.

Date: 2006-11-20 06:33 pm (UTC)Hermit eh? It seems to fit for the most part. I took the quiz and got The Star card, and being that I know nothing of tarot, I don't completely know the significance but the description it gave fits with my constant hope of the future.
